I'm kiwi girl and my husband is from aceh and he's a great cook too. I had lived in a village ten k out of bireuen for a short spell. Yes you do have to chase the chickens and sometimes they chase you back. Did you eat 'kuah pligh'? Did you like it? I'd love to hear from you. Drop me an email if you get time.
