Times Square, New York City. Full of tourists. Full of people trying to get the tourists to come and see their off-Broadway show, even though the tourists mostly want to buy discount tickets to see Wicked or West Side Story and have limited interest in shows without lovable, familiar, catchy tunes. Full of people selling “I heart NYC” t-shirts. Three for $10. Hustling, bustling, especially on “Black Friday,” the day after Thanksgiving when stores have big sales and the city is still full of the tourists that came to see the Macy’s parade a day earlier. But overall, a cool place.
Yours truly. Did I mention that it was also FREEZING COLD while I was there?
