Messing around in (little yellow) boats

We were lucky enough to hang out with and host some pretty cool election observers over the parliamentary election period in Timor in July. In Dili, where you get to know practically everyone very very quickly, it’s always nice to have some fresh faces and some new conversations! One of the observers was Jessi, and when a bunch of us were at Areia Branca one Sunday, she hired one of the little yellow kayaks they have down there. She couldn’t get too far on it though — a whole bunch of kids swimming at the beach wanted to take rides, jump off the sides of it and generally goof around. It made for some pretty cute photos though and I had a lot of fun wading out and taking them!
